2014 Hawleyville Fire Annual Clambake

On Sunday Aug. 31 Hawleyville Fire held their annual Labor day weekend Clambake at the Fire station, This was a well attended from the members with their families and as well from the community.  This year hawleyville had added a pizza truck to their long list of food that was on hand for this all day event their was over 100 pizzas made for the all day party.

Extrication Drill Held at Hawleyville Fire Station

On the evening of Tuesday Aug. 26 Hawleyville fire held a extrication Drill at their station with members from Newtown Ambulance. The drill was to sharpen their skills working together on motor vehicle accidents. They had used donated car for this drill.

Provided Standby Coverage for Fireworks

On the night of June 28th and July 4th Hawleyville Fire was on Standby at 38 Taunton Hill Road providing fire coverage for a private fireworks show.

On June 27th Danbury Fire Asst chief: Bernie Meehan was made  honorary Member of Hawleyville Fire for the day.

Hawleyville Fire At Amber Alert Reistration

On Sunday May 4, 2014 Hawleyville Fire was on hand for the Stony Hill .4 Corners Free Safe Child ID (Amber Alert)  Children should be Registered every year. This was held at 67 Stony Hill Road Bethel, CT.

Hawleyville Fire Had Annual Spring Cleaning Day

 Our annual spring clean up of the fire house  Sunday April 27th   This event happens once a year when we all converge on the fire house to clean up and wash the outside of our building  This year is going to be a very active year for Hawleyville.

Vendor Information

Thank you for reserving your space for the community Hawleyville Volunteer Fire and Rescue “FIRE” sale!

• Bring your own table. The tables will be set on the beautiful Big Buddha property.
• You may want to bring a pop up shade tent as well.
• Set up begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday, 9/15. The event runs from 9-3
• Parking for vendors is between Big Buddha and Sound.
• If necessary, any overflow will be on the HVFD property.
• HVFD will have safety demonstrations.
• Face painting
• Food and beverages for sale – being prepared by the HVFD.
• A bouncy house for the kids. Donation requested.
• Parking for buyers / visitors on the opposite side of the street at the firehouse.
• HVFD volunteers will be directing traffic.
